New York, NY, May 14, 2026 – King Features, a unit of Hearst and home to some of the world’s most popular entertainment characters, today announced that it has entered a new agency representation agreement with The Sunflowers Licensing Ltd.
Under the agreement, The Sunflowers Licensing represents King Features’ portfolio across Eastern Europe, where they are responsible for developing, negotiating, and managing licensing programs for Popeye, Olive Oyl, Flash Gordon, and The Phantom. The partnership brings together King Features’ unparalleled legacy in character creation and brand stewardship with The Sunflowers Licensing’s contemporary, values-led approach to global licensing, retail partnerships, and brand development.
