A new Phantom comic book, released by the Austrian publisher ART:9, is now available for pre-order.

This edition is number two in the series titled ‘Phantom – Die Legende‘, which translates to ‘Phantom – The Legend‘, following a similar format as found with the first edition in the series. This new edition will contain a softcover with 126 black and white internal pages measuring 29.7cm x 21cm. Although produced in Austria, the comic book series contains German text aimed at German readers and collectors.

Phantom – Die Legende #2 will contain three classic Phantom Sunday stories all written by Lee Falk and illustrated by Ray Moore or Wilson McCoy. The stories published within are:

• The Return of the Sky Band – originally published in newspapers from 2nd March 1941 thru till 22nd February 1942
• The Imposter – originally published in newspapers from 1st March 1942 thru till 11th October 1942
• The Castle in the Clouds – originally published in newspapers from 18th October 1942 thru till 18th April 1943
