Mythos Editora, the Brazil-based publisher, has announced the release of a new book, which is now available for pre-order.

Titled “A Era de Ouro dos Quadrinhos”, which translates to “The Golden Age of Comic Books”, the book is a Deluxe graphic novel anthology published in Brazil by Mythos Editora. Spanning 268 pages, this collection serves as a historical showcase, gathering classic comic strips from the foundational era of modern comic arts. It acts as both a archival preservation piece and an entry point for readers looking to explore the origins of popular sequential storytelling.

This edition is the second volume; the first volume was released in 2022, as shown below.

This second volume of A Era de Ouro dos Quadrinhos features iconic adventure and humor figures such as Flash Gordon, The Phantom, Prince Valiant, Popeye, and Beetle Bailey (Recruta Zero). In addition to returning characters, this second edition introduces two major strip debuts to the collection: Hägar the Horrible (Hagar, o Horrível) and Henry (Pinduca). Together, these strips highlight the rich diversity of genres, from space opera and heroic fantasy to daily newspaper humor that defined 20th-century pop culture.
