A new Phantom comic book, released by the Austrian publisher ART:9, is now available for pre-order.

This edition is number eight in the series titled ‘Phantom – Die Klassiker‘, which translates to ‘Phantom – The Classics‘, following a similar format as found with the first seven comic books. This new edition will contain a softcover with 156 black and white internal pages measuring 29.7cm x 21cm. Although produced in Austria, the comic book series contains German text aimed at German readers and collectors.

Phantom – Die Klassiker #8 will contain one classic Phantom daily story written by Lee Falk and illustrated by Ray Moore and Wilson McCoy. The story published is titled “The Phantom Goes to War” (also known as “The Inexorables”), originally published in newspapers from the 2nd of February 1942 thru till the 9th of January 1943, running for 49 weeks.
