A new Phantom comic book, released by the Austrian publisher ART:9, is now available for pre-order.

This edition is number three in the series titled ‘Phantom – Die Legende‘, which translates to ‘Phantom – The Legend‘, following a similar format as found with the first two editions in the series. This new edition will contain a softcover with 134 black and white internal pages measuring 29.7cm x 21cm. Although produced in Austria, the comic book series contains German text aimed at German readers and collectors.

Phantom – Die Legende #3 will contain four classic Phantom Sunday stories all written by Lee Falk and illustrated by Wilson McCoy. The stories published within are:

• The Insmani Cannibals – originally published in newspapers from 25th April 1943 thru till 4th July 1943
• Hamid the Terrible – originally published in newspapers from 11th July 1943 thru till 25th June 1944
• The Phantom’s Childhood – originally published in newspapers from 2nd July 1944 thru till 7th January 1945
• The Golden Princess – originally published in newspapers from 14th January 1945 thru till 24th June 1945
