Launched today by artist Danesh Mohiuddin, we see a comic book character infographic poster available for purchase via a Kickstarter campaign.

The poster is titled, ‘Timeless Characters’.

The illustrated poster shows us a timeline of comic book characters in order of their year of creation, spanning from the 1800’s thru till 2021, with more then 300 characters shown. These characters intertwine with historical evets occurring in the world at the time, such as world wars and even our recent pandemic.

The poster also includes an image of the Phantom, as seen below, created in 1936.

A brief bio is provided about the artist, Danesh Mohiuddin, on the Kickstarter campaign:

Danesh is an Indian Canadian Illustrator living in Toronto. He was the staff editorial cartoonist for Dubai’s Gulf News and has illustrated for Scholastic. He is a member of Toronto’s renowned RAID Studio and has contributed to their Comics Anthologies. He is currently illustrating a Graphic Novel for Kids Can Press, and two children’s book for Owl Kids.

Each unframed color poster will be hand numbered and signed by Danesh, before being posted internationally from Canada in a sturdy tube. 2 sizes are available:

• 30.5cm x 45.7cm
• 60.9cm x 91.4cm

The Kickstarter campaign is promoting 3 main pledge levels, one each for the different sized posters, plus a third which includes a custom caricature of you (or a family member) drawn into the poster’s timeline.
