The description for A Fase DC Comics De O Fantasma seen in the advertisement reads:
In the 1980s, DC Comics undertook the mission of revitalizing some of the most iconic heroes of the first half of the 20th century. Starting with The Shadow, then Doc Savage and Flash Gordon, it was finally the turn of the first great successful masked hero: The Phantom, created by Lee Falk. One of the most influential characters in the history of adventure comics, The Phantom gained dynamic and vibrant stories, addressing contemporary themes through the creativity of some of the most renowned writers and artists of his time, such as Peter David, Mark Verheiden, Joe Orlando, and Luke McDonnell. It all begins in the four-issue miniseries, in which the 21st Phantom, heir to a centuries-old lineage, revisits the past by reading the chronicles of his predecessors, seeking answers and guidance for his journey as the new masked hero. What he didn’t imagine was that the past would return violently to be confronted. Subsequently, throughout a series of 13 action-packed issues, the duties of the inherited mantle lead the Phantom through adventures that explore compelling themes connected to the African continent – especially Bangalla – such as social inequality, famine, environmental devastation, and a hate speech that threatens the population.
The first series found within A Fase DC Comics De O Fantasma is the four comic book mini-series simply titled ‘The Phantom‘. The series was released in 1988 in the US containing all original storyline and artwork specifically produced for DC Comics, written by Peter David, with illustrations by Joe Orlando and Dennis Janke. The cover artwork for all four editions is created by Joe Orlando, Dave Gibbons, and Anthony Tollin. These four originally released comic books can be seen below.

The second series featured in A Fase DC Comics De O Fantasma is the thirteen comic book series originally released in the US in 1989, also titled ‘The Phantom‘. The all original storyline and artwork specifically produced for DC Comics for the series are written by Mark Verheiden and illustrated by Luke McDonnell. The cover art for all thirteen editions is the collaborative work of Luke McDonnell and Anthony Tollin. These thirteen originally released comic books can be seen below.
