The Brazilian based Mythos Editora have announced the release of a new comic book titled ‘Kings Watch: Defensores Da Terra‘.

Translating to ‘Kings Watch – Defenders of the Earth‘, the paperback comic book is due for release this month (March 2026). It contains the Kings Watch storyline which was previously published by Dynamite Entertainment in the US in 2013. The all original art and comic strip story is a crossover event where the three heroes, The Phantom, Flash Gordon and Mandrake the Magician, team up to face an alien menace and the Cult of the Cobra.

Kings Watch: Defensores Da Terra will be published with 164 full color pages with Portuguese text.

The full Kings Watch comic strip story featured in this comic book published by Mythos Editora is written by Jeff Parker and illustrated by Marc Laming. The cover art was originally published by Dynamite Entertainment on the cover of Kings Watch comic book edition number 5, illustrated by Marc Laming and Jordan Boyd.

The front cover of Kings Watch: Defensores Da Terra, which can be seen below, features a striking triptych design showcasing three heroes: Flash Gordon in his futuristic space suit on the left, The Phantom (O Fantasma) mounted on his white horse in the center, and Mandrake the Magician in his classic top hat and tuxedo on the right.

Below the central title, three circular icons – a skull, a hypnotic eye, and a lightning bolt – represent each hero’s unique brand of justice. The Mythos Books and the Dynamite Entertainment logo are found in the lower section of the front cover, which also features the special 90th-anniversary logo for the Phantom, all set against a dynamic background of swirling clouds, celestial bodies, and dense jungle foliage that highlights the diverse environments of these legendary “Defenders of the Earth”.
