Phantom Convention Comic Cover By Mad Cave Studios

Mad Cave Studios, located in the United States, have shared an image of a variant cover for the first edition of the Phantom comic book on social media.

Part of Mad Cave Studios recently released comic book series featuring the Phantom, the variant comic cover is labeled ‘Convention Exclusive‘. This first edition contains 32 full-color pages, showcasing an original story that progresses from one edition to the next, written by Ray Fawkes, illustrated by Russell Mark Olson, and lettered by Taylor Esposito.

To mark this first edition in the series, a variety of variant covers have officially been produced by Mad Cave Studios, a total of eight, illustrated by a variety of artists including Freddie Williams II, Caanan White, Russell Mark Olson, Dan Brereton, Natacha Bustos, Maria Wolf and Mike Spicer.

This Convention Exclusive variant comic cover marks the ninth produced, illustrated by Marco Santucci. The art sees the Phantom running through the Jungle surrounded by some of his animal friends, including an Elephant, Lion, Monkey and a pair of Macaws.

Mad Cave Studios will be attending the upcoming New York Comic Con event held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City, USA from Thursday the 9th of October thru till Sunday the 12th of October 2025. It’s one of the largest pop culture events in the country, attracting over 200,000 fans. This edition will be exclusively available at the convention.
