The Denmark based comic book publishing house E-voke has listed a third Phantom comic book in its ‘The Phantom: The Legend Returns’ series.
Not only has this third edition appeared on their website, but it also appears that E-voke have changed the sequence of how the editions will be released. The previously announced edition number 2 has now been renumbered to appear third in the series.
Editions 1 thru to 3 can be seen below.



The newly listed Phantom comic book is seen above in the center, now edition number 2 in the series, with cover art by Italian artist Roy Felmang. Edition number 1 contains cover art by Luca Erbetta, whilst edition number 3 contains cover art by Raúl Lara.
Published under the Phantoms Danish title of ‘Fantomet‘, the hardcover album style comic books are all titled ‘Fantomet: Legenden Vender Tilbage‘, which translates to ‘The Phantom: The Legend Returns‘, with all editions published in Danish text.
Based on the internal pages seen for Fantomet comic book edition number 2 on the E-voke website, the Phantom stories published within are:
- The Phantom’s Death – Originally published by Charlton in the USA in 1968, written by Don Jon Arneson and illustrated by Jim Aparo.
- The Queen of Saba – Originally published by Frew Publications in Australia in 2018, written and illustrated by Roy Felmang.
- The Ghost Wall – The 196th Daily Newspaper Story commencing in 1999, written by Tony DePaul and illustrated by George Olesen and Keith Williams.

At present, edition number 1 is dues for release this month, edition number 2 in November 2024 and edition number 3 in 2025.
