Fantomet Comic Books By E-voke

The Denmark based comic book publishing house E-voke, is currently producing 2 new Phantom comic books.

Published under the Phantoms Danish title of ‘Fantomet‘, the hardcover album style comic books are both titled ‘Fantomet: Legenden Vender Tilbage‘, which translates to ‘The Phantom: The Legend Returns‘. Both editions will be published in Danish text.

The first edition is due for release in June 2024, set to contain 128 black and white pages. The advertisement for the comic book on the E-voke website notifies us that it’ll contain Phantom stories written by Lee Falk and illustrated by Sy Barry and Bill Lignante. This first edition is described by E-voke as:

The sensational return of “The Ghost Who Walks”! The Phantom, the first major superhero, who was created back in 1936 (!), is published in beautiful hardback albums and collects a handful of stories in each album – by, among others series creators Lee Falk and Sy Barry and many other well-known cartoonists.

The second edition, which has recently appeared on the E-voke website, is currently due for release in October 2024. No information is provided as yet in respect to it’s contents. The advertisement for this second edition provides a vague described:
