Vladimir Miljković, an artist based in Serbia has recently exhibited a collection of his paintings.
Presented at Galerija FLU in Belgrade, Serbia, the 29 year old Vladimir displayed his work in an exhibition titled ‘Transformed Reality and Amorphous Figuration‘. His work was displayed as part of a doctoral art project, which was on exhibition from the 13th thru till the 24th of February, 2024.
Vladimir’s paintings and drawings are found in numerous collections in Serbia and other parts of the world including USA (SORUM painting collection Los Angeles, California), France, Poland and Germany.
Amongst his recent exhibition at Galerija FLU were 2 paintings featuring the Phantom. As a fan of the Phantom from a young age, reading his adventures in comic books, it was only natural that Vladimir would include paintings of the Phantom in his recent exhibition, in his artistic style.
The first painting is titled ‘The Phantom‘, painted in 2023, oil on canvas and measures 230cm x 205cm. It features the Phantom with his gun drawn with Devil by his side.

The second painting is titled ‘The Phantom II‘, painted in 2023, oil on canvas and measures 160cm x 125cm. It features the Phantom in a standing pose with his hands on his hips with a Jungle background.

Below we see Vladimir pictured next to his Phantom paintings, which based on the measurements noted above, are extremely large in size and would certainly be very imposing when viewed in a gallery setting.

Vladimir has also commissioned a short promotional video of his 2 Phantom works of art, produced by Jelena Jeremić. The short video can be viewed below.
With the Phantom having such a rich history in Serbia (formerly known as Yugoslavia), first published by Hrvatski Dnevnik in newspapers in 1936 and in comic book form in 1937, it’s great to see the Phantom continuing to remain in the minds of creators in that part of the world!!!
