Released in February 2020, the Phantom makes an appearance on the cover of issue 2 of ‘Profesor Dergisi – Çizgi Roman Kulturu Dergisi’, (which translates to ‘Professor Magazine – Comic Book Culture’).

It’s published by Çizgi Roman Okurları Derneği who are based in Istanbul, Turkey. The magazine contains several articles on comic book characters, and isn’t solely dedicated to the Phantom.

The cover sees the Phantom enjoying a drink on a boat with several other comic book characters on the Istanbul waterfront, with the beautiful Galata Tower clearly visible in the background.

The Phantom is also colored in purple and not the traditional red as normally seen in Turkey.
