Abhimanyu Dassani and Radhika Madan starrer Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota directed by Vasan Bala was a surprise hit. The film went on to do well at the box-office and even recieved critical acclaim. Post Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota, our sources inform us that the director has started working on a new project which will be a sci-fi film.

Apparently it will be the Hindi adaptation of Hollywood film The Phantom which was directed by Simon Wincer. According to our sources, the film is set to go on floors by mid of this year and the pre-production is on in full swing currently.

The cast of the film hasn’t been locked in yet, but Ronnie Screvwala’s RSVP films will be producing the project for the ace director. Keep watching this space for more on Bollywood.
