The Star & Herald newspaper is published in Panama City, Panama commencing from 1854 and is still published to this day. It’s published in both English and Spanish languages.
The newspaper was known under a variety of titles throughout its history:
- Daily Panama Star & Herald (1854)
- Panama Star & Herald (1854-1875)
- Daily Panama Star & Herald (1876-1901)
- Star & Herald (1901-current)
Phantom comic strips were published in the Star & Herald newspaper, with both Daily and Sunday stories published in black and white. Daily comic strips were published in the 1950s thru till the 1960s, whilst Sunday comic strips were published from the 1940s thru till the 1960s.
