The Phantom appeared in edition number 2, under license of King Features Syndicate, released on the 14th of May 1990. The full classic story ‘The Jungle Olympics’ was published, written by Lee Falk and illustrated by Wilson McCoy, in Italian text. The L’Adige Fumetti newspaper lift out supplement contains 24 pages. The front and back covers can be seen below.

All L’Adige Fumetti newspaper lift out supplements contain an edition number on the front cover, from number 1 to 5, plus the title of the comic strip story published within. Interestingly, the Phantom appears in a purple costume on the front cover, as the Phantom is traditionally published in a red costume in Italy.
