The Serials Of Columbia

The Serials of Columbia is a fanzine published by Screen Facts Press in Kew Gardens, New York, USA in 1967. Co-published by Alan G. Barbour, Milton Luboviski and Larry Edmunds Bookshop, the publication provides in-depth information about the cast, crew and chapter titles for Serials produced by Columbia Pictures between 1937 and 1956.

The Serials of Columbia contains 64 black and white pages, with color only found on the front and back softcovers, measuring 5.5” x 8.5”. The front and back covers can be seen below, with the front cover illustrated by Fred Fredericks.

The Phantom Serial released in 1943 staring Tom Tyler as the Phantom is featured in the fanzine on pages 27 and 28. Information on the cast, crew and chapter titles are published, alongside an image of Tom Tyler in his Phantom costume and an advertisement for the Serial from 1943.

An image of the Phantom is also found on the inside front cover, a Columbia Pictures promotional image of the Phantom Serial.
