The Roctober Series was published by Web Press in USA between 1992 thru to 2023, running for 54 editions over this timeframe. The music themed fanzine was released approximately once every quarter, publishing a large variety of articles per edition, including interviews, biographies, production information and current affairs, rich in text and images (both photos and illustrations).

Roctober edition number 25 was released in the Summer of 1999 containing 164 black and white pages. The front cover of this edition can be seen below, illustrated by Mark Fischer and printed in color, with a profile image of the Phantom seen in the lower left section of the cover.

Found within this edition on page 78 is a small tribute article by Jake Austen featuring Lee Falk and his creation, the Phantom. The article takes up half a page, with a ‘Roctober BonusBook’ found in the center of the fanzine designed to be cut out. The ‘Roctober BonusBook’ is a comic book containing a roughly illustrated Phantom comic strip story by an unknown artist.
