The magazine was intended to compete with the ‘Famous Monsters of Filmland’. Each issue featured a fold-out centerfold poster usually based on that particular issue’s feature story. The magazine featured articles and reviews of modern and classic comic books, science fiction and fantasy movies; as well as television series.
The publishers were art directors Larry Brill and Les Waldstein, who were the original designers for a pornographic weekly tabloid and ‘Famous Monsters of Filmland’.
