On pages 6 thru to 8, we find a section of the magazine titled ‘If Comic Strip Characters Answered Those Little Ads’, illustrated by Wally Wood. We find the Phantom and other comic strip characters in this section.
On page 8, we find the Phantom in 3 illustrations, top row on the right, plus second row down in both illustrations.
Wallace Allan Wood/Wally Wood was born on the 17th of June, 1927 and died on the 2nd of November, 1981. Wally Wood was an American comic book artist, writer, and independent publisher, most famous for his work on E.C Publications, Inc. MAD Magazine.
