Cartoonist PROfiles is a magazine series which was created by Jud Hurd in USA in March, 1969. The publication featured all aspects of the comic/cartoon industry including publishing houses, writers, artists, syndication license holders, events, interviews and so much more.
Cartoonist PROfiles magazine was published on a quarterly basis, coming to an end in June, 2005 following the death of its creator, Jud Hurd. 146 magazines were released over the 36 years it was in production.
Phantom related articles, notations and advertisement appeared sporadically over the 146 editions, with several editions containing in-depth articles. The Phantom also appears on some Cartoonist PROfiles magazine covers.
