Published in the UK by World Distributors (Manchester) Limited in 1967, this 8 issue series was printed in black & white, containing approximately 64 pages. The comics are smaller in size then regular sized comic books, measuring 12.5cm x 17.5cm.

Under the title of World Adventure Library, other characters besides the Phantom were printed, including Batman, Superman, Tarzan, Mandrake the Magician, The Man From U.N.C.L.E, Flash Gordon, etc.
