Super Almanaque Especial is published by RGE (Rio Grafica Editora) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in May 1972. We only see the one edition published under this title as a special one-off release by RGE.

Containing 84 pages and measuring 17cm x 26cm, Super Almanaque Especial is published in full color and contains cover art by Evaldo de Oliveira.

Super Almanaque Especial contains a mix of comic book characters and comic strips, including the Phantom. The Phantom is also seen on the cover of the comic book.

We find the Lee Falk and Wilson McCoy Phantom story, ‘The Thuggees’ published in the comic. Only part 2 of the story is published in the comic book, in full color as initially seen as a Sunday comic strip in 1949 newspapers.
