Regal Publishers, located in Kottayam, India was established in 1976, initially publishing fiction and non-fiction titles. Over the years, Regal Publishers have released several comic book series featuring the Phantom, Mandrake the Magician and Tarzan.
Their earlier publications were targeted at the local Indian market, publishing in local languages and dialects. In 2020 Regal Publishers started publishing Phantom comic books in English, reaching a wider international audience.
Regal Publishers are still going strong, publishing a Phantom comic book series up to this day.
Published in 2012, this Phantom comic book is printed in Malayalam language and contains 24 black and white pages, measuring 21.5cm x 29cm.

Published in 2019, a 5 comic book series was released containing full color pages in Malayalam language. Page length varied for each comic book, ranging from 24 pages up to 40 pages and measure 21cm x 29cm.

Commencing in August 2020, Regal Publishers started releasing a Phantom comic book series containing full color pages in English. The common page length for each comic book is 56 pages and measure 18cm x 26cm.

In May 2022, Regal Publishers released their first Trade Paperback book titled ‘Terror of The Python – The Chatu Saga’, containing 256 gloss finished pages in full color. 9 Phantom stories are featured, written by Tony DePaul and illustrated by Graham Nolan and the late Paul Ryan, with cover art by Ankit Mitra. Text within the book is published in English.
