L’Uomo Mascherato comic book was published by L’Unita Editrice Multimediale S.p.A in Rome, Italy in 1998. The Phantom was featured in a series of approximately 50 comic books, only appearing in one edition, number 14. Featured in the series are both local Italian and international comic book characters including Satanik and Rip Kirby.

L’Uomo Mascherato contains 100 black and white pages measuring 18cm x 11cm in landscape format. The front cover of the comic book notifies us of the 2 Phantom comic strip stories published within, ‘U-Town’ and ‘The Scoria’, both daily comic strips written by Lee Falk and illustrated by Wilson McCoy. The front and back cover can be seen below, featuring the Phantom in his Italian red costume.

The comic books softcover contains a mix of Phantom illustration by Ray More and Wilson McCoy, with the edition number found on the back cover, number 14. Two daily comic strips are printed per page, as can be seen below.
