Kult Comics is a comic book publishing house based in Leipzig, Germany established in 2016 by Sebastian Röpke and Michael Beck for the new distribution company Comic Combo. Kult Comics predominately publishes high quality album style comic books featuring European artists.
Released in December 2023, Kult Comics published an album style softcover comic book featuring comic strip stories illustrated by Jean-Yves Mitton titled ‘Das Phantom – Die Ersten Vier Geschichten Aus Der Feder Von Jean-Yves Mitton’, which translates to ‘The Phantom – The First Four Stories From The Pen Of Jean-Yves Mitton’. It contains 148 black and white pages measuring 22.3cm x 29.4cm, licensed by King Features Syndicate.
Besides comic strip stories, 9 editorial pages are also published within the comic book in German text. A variety of writers and artists feature in the book, including Donne Avenell, Jean-Yves Mitton, Lennart Moberg, Norman Worker and Scott Goodall. The front cover can be seen below.

The Phantom – The First Four Stories From The Pen Of Jean-Yves Mitton was also released with a limited edition hardcover containing variant cover art to the comic book above, with only 100 editions released worldwide. This edition was accompanied with two bookplates by Jean-Yves Mitton and Geier, which can be seen below.
