Krönika över en vandrande vålnad (which translates to Chronicle of a Wandering Ghost) was published by Carlsen Comics and Semic Press in Sweden on the 5th of October, 1990. The hardcover book was published to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of Fantomen comics published in Sweden.

Containing a mix of black and white and color pages, the book contains 144 pages and measures 22.5cm x 30.5cm, with text found within in Swedish text.

Krönika över en vandrande vålnad contains 4 Phantom comic stories, The Sky Band, The Dead River, The Beanstalk and The Test. It also contains a wide variety for articles, including about the Phantoms history in Swedish media, Phantom Mythos and articles about artists and writers of Fantomen comics in Sweden.

An interview with Phantom creator Lee Falk is also published in the book, conducted by Ulf Granberg. Cover art is by Christer Thunborg.
