The Kings Watch comic book supplements were published by Egmont Publishing AB in Sweden commencing in 2015. Released as a separate supplement across five editions of Fantomen comic book edition numbers 17, 20, 21, 24 (published in 2025) and 1 (published in 2016), the comics were given away free of charge.

The Kings Watch comic book series was originally published by Dynamite Entertainment in the US in 2013. The all original art and comic strip story is a crossover event where three heroes, The Phantom, Flash Gordon and Mandrake the Magician, team up to face an alien menace and the Cult of the Cobra, written by Jeff Parker and illustrated by Marc Laming.

The Kings Watch comic book supplements are printed in full color with approximately 32 pages, translated from English to Swedish for local readers. The comic books replicate the original series by Dynamite Entertainment both on the covers and the pages within. All five editions can be seen below.

Each edition features a comic book number prominently displayed on the front cover, accompanied by a black banner added by Egmont Publishing AB at both the top and bottom of the comic, not seen in the original series by Dynamite Entertainment. The top banner states ‘BILGA-KINGS WATCH-BILGA’, which translates to ‘APPENDIX-KINGS WATCH-APPENDIX.’ The banner at the bottom specifies with which Fantomen comic book the supplement is included, along with a statement indicating that the comic is not sold as an individual item.
