Héroes del Cómic (which translates to Comic Hero’s) is published by the Penguin Random House Publishing Group in Barcelona, Spain in 2021. 16 comic books are found in the series, containing a mix of American and Spanish comic book characters, including The Masked Warrior, Captain Thunder, The Iron Corsair, El Jabato, Flash Gordon, Mandrake the Magician, Prince Valiant and Jungle Jim. The Phantom is also found in the series.

Héroes del Cómic are hardcover books, published with a color cover, containing between 48 to 64 black and white or color pages and measure 29cm x 21cm. They don’t contain a number as traditionally found in a series of comics.

They were released on a weekly basis with the Saturday edition of 2 newspapers in Spain, ‘El Mundo’ and ‘Marca’ from the 22nd of May, 2021 thru till the 4th of September, 2021. The Héroes del Cómic books could be purchased for an additional price with the purchase of a newspaper.

The Phantom appears in edition number 7, seen on the left below (released on the 3rd of July, 2021), and edition number 15, seen on the right below (released on the 28th of August, 2021). Classic Lee Falk and Sy Barry comic strips are found within the books published in black and white with Spanish text.
