Fantomens Skattkammare (which translates to The Phantom’s Treasure Chamber) is a digital-only comic series released by Story House Egmont AB in Sweden commencing in March 2025.
Story House Egmont AB is a major European media company, and a key part of the larger Danish-based Egmont Group. The company’s core business revolves around media, consumer insights, data, technology, and creativity, which it uses to deliver a wide array of storytelling experiences. While it is best known for its popular magazines and digital media, it also operates leading e-commerce platforms and offers high-level agency services. The company’s diverse portfolio includes magazines for both adults and children, often featuring beloved characters and brands like Disney Princess, Thomas & Friends, and PAW Patrol.
Story House Egmont’s history is deeply intertwined with the Egmont Group, which was founded in 1878 by Egmont Harald Petersen as a small printing business. The company quickly grew and evolved, eventually becoming a magazine publisher. In 1914, after Petersen’s death, his will stipulated that a portion of the company’s profits should be used for philanthropic purposes, a tradition that continues today through the Egmont Foundation. In 2021, the publishing division, previously known as Egmont Publishing, was renamed Story House Egmont to better reflect its expanded business model, which now includes media, agencies, and e-commerce.
The company’s operations are rooted in the Nordic region, with a strong presence in countries like Sweden, Denmark, and Norway. It publishes media in over 27 countries, demonstrating a significant international reach. Story House Egmont’s business model is built on three main pillars: Media, which includes its magazines and digital content; E-commerce, which focuses on lifestyle products; and Agencies, which help other brands with digital marketing and content creation. The company emphasizes a commitment to strong journalism and engaging stories, while also adapting to the evolving media landscape through digital initiatives and a focus on understanding consumer behavior.

The series is a monthly publication, designed to cater to readers who are avid fans of the Phantom and seek more content beyond the regular print editions. It’s accessible through digital platforms, specifically Egmont’s own app, Flipp, and the magazine app, Readly, allowing for a different publishing model to the traditional printed comic book format.
Fantomens Skattkammare comprises pages of varying lengths, ranging from 39 to 63, contingent upon the featured Phantom stories, presented in a combination of color and black-and-white pages. The series contain a unique cover design, a blue leather pattern with gold print, with the story titles featured noted.
