El Hombre Enmascarado comic books were published by Ediciones B.O. in Madrid, Spain from 1981 thru till 1982. The softcover comic book series contain 6 editions featuring comic strip stories written by Lee Falk and illustrated by Ray Moore.

The series is published in landscape format containing between 40 to 48 black and white pages measuring 29.5cm x 23.5cm. Cover art used in the series are taken from panels found within the comic books and colored. The Phantom is traditionally published in a red costume in Spain, however the series published the Phantom in a purple costume for the first 3 editions, then reverting to red for the last 3 editions.

All comic book covers contain the title of the Phantom as he’s known in Spain, ‘El Hombre Enmascarado’, with Lee Falk and Ray Moore also noted on the front covers. Each edition is also numbered with roman numerals and referred to as ‘Volumes’.
