Diamond Comics also started publishing foreign comic books such as the Phantom, Mandrake the Magician, Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, He-Man and James Bond in Hindi as well as in English.
Diamond Comics Digest is the title appearing on the Phantom comic book series, running from 1990 until 2000 with 101 editions released. They were published in English, Hindi and Bengali languages and were printed on a monthly basis.
Each edition contained varying page length, from 68 to 100 and are smaller in size to traditional comic books, measuring 15.5cm x 19.5cm. The original 101 editions were printed in color on poor quality paper. Some of these comics have since been reprinted by Diamond Comics, on better quality paper, in black and white.
3 different logos were utilized by Diamond Comics on the front covers of their Phantom comics. As you can see below, issue 1 bears 3 different logo’s.
