Antologia da BD Clássica (which translates to ‘Anthology of Classic Comics’) are published by Editorial Futura in Portugal between 1982 thru till 1988. A total of 22 softcover comic books were published in the series, with each edition featuring a different comic book character. The series focused on publishing newspaper comic strips, with characters found in the series including Mandrake the Magician, Flash Gordon, Cisco Kid, Rip Kirby, Kerry Drake, Garth, Prince Valiant, Brick Bradford and more.

The Phantom was also featured in edition number 12 published in 1984. The comic book contains 56 black and white pages, measuring 20.8cm x 29cm. Below we see the front and back cover of the ‘Fantasma’ edition, with cover art by Augusto Trigo.

Antologia da BD Clássica contains 2 Lee Falk and Sy Barry Phantom stories titled, ‘Kit and the Little People’ and ‘Mysterious Karapura’. Text is in Portuguese. A sample of internal pages can be seen below.
