A Lenda do Fantasma (which translates to The Legend of the Phantom) was published by Nova Sampa Diretriz Editorial Ltda. in Sao Paulo, Brazil from 1990 thru till 1991. 2 softcover paperback comic books were published in the series, containing the Lee Falk and Ray Moore Phantom classic story, The Singh Brotherhood.

Both editions contain 100 black and white pages, measuring 10.5cm x 17.5cm. Edition number 1 was released in 1990, with edition number 2 released the following year in 1991. Both editions contain the wording ‘Pocket Classic’ alongside the edition number, plus the publishers logo ‘SAMPA’ on the front cover.

Both the front and rear of each edition contains an image found within the comic strip, illustrated by Ray Moore.

The layout of the comic strip found within A Lenda do Fantasma is not as traditionally seen in comic books, but edited to only contain a few panels per page. Some pages simply containing art from the comic strip as a full splash page image.
