The Phantom TV & Cartoon Heroes Magnet was produced by Al Nyman & Son, Inc in USA in 1975. The Magnet is made of vinyl plastic, commonly referred to as a ‘Puffy Magnet’, designed to be displayed on a metal object. A variety of comic book characters were featured in the series, characters licensed to both King Features Syndicate and Hanna-Barbera Productions.

The Phantom TV & Cartoon Heroes Magnet was manufactured in Hong Kong before being sold throughout the US in retail stores, hanging on a display rack. The Magnet comes in a clear plastic pocket stapled to a card at the top as seen below.

The Phantom is seen in his red costume, as he’s known in a variety of countries such as Italy, France, Brazil and Spain. We also see a profile image of the Phantom on the card at the top of the packaging, which contains the same graphics and wording on both sides.

Amongst the Phantom, we also see other comic book characters featured on the card, included Mandrake the Magician, Beetle Bailey, Blondie, Hendy, Fred Flintstone Yogi Bear and Popeye.
