The ‘Have A Cup On Me’ Tile Coaster was produced by King Features Syndicate in USA in the 1970s. The Tile coaster was a free giveaway around Christmas time to business partners and agents of King Features Syndicate.

The Tile Coaster is made of ceramic which has been kiln fired with a cork backing. The glazed top contains a variety of comic book characters licensed to both King Features Syndicate and Walt Disney Productions, including the Phantom, Prince Valiant, Flash Gordon, Dagwood & Blondie, Popeye, Snuffy Smith, Beetle Bailey, Hagar the Horrible and Winnie the Pooh

The Tile Coaster was packaged in a flip open die-cut cardboard box measuring 4.25” x 4.2”, with the title, ‘Have A Cup On Me’ printed on the front of the box.

Also found within the box with the Tile Coaster is a card titled ‘Happy Holidays From King Features Syndicate’. A list of King Features Syndicate executives are noted on the card.
