The Phantom Movie Comic Edition DVD was released by Paramount Pictures in Spain in 2012. The DVD disc contains the Phantom movie which was release on the 7th of June 1996, an Australian-American superhero film directed by Simon Wincer, staring Billy Zane as the Phantom, a seemingly immortal crime fighter in his battle against all forms of evil. 

The Phantom Movie Comic Edition DVD was produced in limited numbers and distributed exclusively within Spain by Paramount Spain S.L.U. The plastic DVD case is housed within a cardboard slipcase which slides up, the opening of the slipcase found at the base, measuring 18.03cm x 13.76cm x 1.48cm. The movie DVD disc is dubbed in English, Castilian, Italian and French, with subtitles seen in English, Croatian, French, Castilian, Greek, Italian, Portuguese and Hebrew.

The Phantom Movie Comic Edition DVD contains Spanish text throughout, with the front containing both the English and Spanish title of the Phantom ‘The Phantom – El Hombre Enmascarado’. We also see the wording ‘Edición Limitada’, which translates to ‘Limited Edition’. The plastic DVD case housed within the slipcase contains the same graphics and wording as the slip case. Billy Zane is the legendary hero “The Phantom” or “The Masked Man”, probably the most famous of all comic book characters that have been brought to the screen.
