The Sy Barry Art Cards Set and storage folder was produced in USA in 2013 and is limited to 12 worldwide. A full set of trading cards is made up of 20 cards. The set was produced by fans of the Phantom.
The special collector card album was created for guests attending the 2013 ‘Sardi’s’ Restaurant gathering (located in New York City, USA), a yearly celebration whereby Phantom fans meet to discuss and celebrate all things Phantom.
An introductory page is found within the storage folder titled ‘Sy Barry Phantom Card Set’.
The Sy Barry Art Cards Set consists of 20 semi-gloss oversized 5” x 3.25” double sided trading cards:
- 1 x Introduction card (card number 1),
- 18 x Character cards (card numbers 2-19),
- 1 x Index card (card number 20) – personally signed by Sy Barry.
This original Sy Barry Art Cards Set was later reproduced and is extremely similar to the original set from 2013. Below we see the reproduced card set, differences from the original set include:
- rounded card corners,
- the reverse of the card has been left blank,
- the cards are smaller in size,
- the set only contains 18 cards.
