The Phantom collector cards were released by Saturday Morning Cards in USA in July 2025. The collector cards do not form part of a trading card set, as is typically observed with segmented releases of Phantom trading card collections.
Saturday Morning Cards (SMC) is a USA-based collector card company that focuses on evoking a sense of nostalgia for classic Saturday mornings filled with cartoons, toys, and video games. SMC entered the trading card market in May 2024 with their first release, “Steamboat Willie” chromium cards, which capitalized on the public domain status of Mickey Mouse’s debut. Since then, they have expanded their offerings to include various retro IPs and characters like Winnie the Pooh, Terminator, Rocketeer, Dick Tracy and the Phantom. Each collection is typically a limited release, often with only 1000 cards per set, featuring different rarity levels and variations like “Matrix,” “Stars,” “Ice Silver,” and highly sought-after 1/1 sketch cards.
The company emphasizes limited edition releases, with many of their card sets selling out rapidly upon release. Their products cater to the growing collectible trading card market, offering fans a tangible way to connect with beloved franchises and a piece of artistic nostalgia. SMC continues to grow its presence, offering a unique blend of retro appeal and modern collecting trends to its dedicated community of collectors.
The series of Phantom collector cards come packaged in a cardboard box which is sealed in a clear see-through plastic film. An illustration of the Phantom is seen seated on the Skull Throne in the Skull Cave with Devil by his side is seen on the front of the card box, with a skull motif seen on the back, fully licensed by King Features Syndicate. The front and back packaging is illustrated by Erick Marshall.
A diverse array of pre-order options and pricing structures were offered upon release of the cards by Saturday Morning Cards.

THE PHANTOM – Guaranteed Sketch Card 1/1
This is for a single sketch card of The Phantom, hand drawn by one of the talented SMC sketch card artists. Each sketch card is a unique 1/1. The sketch cards are on a first come, first serve basis.
THE PHANTOM – 6 Single Card Bundle: Includes Exclusive The Purple /25
This is for 5 single boxes of The Phantom PLUS you will get an exclusive bonus Purple card numbered to /25. There are only 25 exclusive Purple cards available, on a first come first serve basis.
THE PHANTOM – Case of 20 Boxes
This is an OFFIALLY LICENSED release of The Phantom. 2025 SMC Stan Lee Card with Premium Magnetic Box and One Touch Enclosed. This release will have multiple different artworks. There are 20 singles in a case with guaranteed Gold Hit (or better), and Sketch Card.
A checklist was prepared by Saturday Morning Cards, detailing the diverse range of cards available for discovery and collection, though in extremely limited quantities.
A small sample of the one off sketch cards can be seen below, with the below examples illustrated by Erick Marshall. The front of the cards all contain a pre-printed title in the lower section of the card ‘The Phantom’, with the rear of the cards hand signed and numbered by the artist.
Saturday Morning Cards attended the San Diego Comic-Con which was held from the 23rd thru till the 27th of July 2025, taking place at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California, USA. At the event they made available an exclusive San Diego Comic-Con Phantom collector card. The Phantom is depicted in a grey costume, with firearms at the ready, accompanied by Devil at his side, illustrated by Erick Marshall. The SDCC exclusive card has a limited print run of only 50 and can be seen below.
