The RETRO Board Game was produced by Kärnan in Sweden from 2006. The trivia themed board game was produced under license by Egmont Kids Media Nordic AB with 3 separate editions released. The board game is designed for 3 to 6 players.

The 2nd Edition of the RETRO Board Game was released from 2013 thru till 2015 features an image of the Phantom on the box lid, an image of Fantomen comic book number 1 published in 1950. The front and back of this edition can be seen below.

Join us on a fun journey from the 1950s to the 2000s. Answer questions about everything from Marilyn Monroe. Ten in the top, Björn Borg, the fall of the Berlin Wall and the Millennium bug for Swedish detective stories. Collect points by making and comparing lists of, among other things, the best chewing gum and the worst movie of all time. The game is guaranteed to provoke many laughs, fun memories and lively discussions.

Once the lid is lifted off, a plastic molded tray is found within housing all of the games components.
