The Phantom Wedding Medallion was offered by Semic Press in Sweden in 1978. The medallion measures 1.75” and is made of solid metal, with the Phantom and Diana seen on one side, and the wording ‘Brollopet I De Djupa Skogarna’ (translating to ‘The Wedding in the Deep Woods’) on the reverse.

An advertisement for the Phantom Wedding Medallion is first seen in Fantomen comic book number 7, published in 1978. A coupon is provided to order the medallion from the Fantomen Shop. These medallions were never sold commercially and only made available through mail order.

On the 14th of March, 1978 Fantomen comic book number 6 (the edition prior to the medallion advertisement) published the Phantoms Wedding story by Lee Falk and drawn by Sy Barry. The cover of this edition is illustrated by Rolf Gohs. This Fantomen comic book cover bears the same image as the medallion.
