The subscription offer was advertised in Fantomen comic book edition number 19, published in 1968. The front and back cover of this comic book can be seen below.


The Phantom Secret Morse Torch is provided free of charge if a full years comic book subscription is purchased containing 13 Fantomen comic books. The advertisement sheet was found attached to the centerfold of the comic book, with a return coupon found at the base. The torch is also doubles as a key ring. The advertisement can be seen below.

The Phantom Secret Morse Torch contains a light at the front, with a chain and clasp attached to the back, designed to be attached to a set of keys. The words ‘Fantomen Ar Bast!’ are printed on the top, which translates to ‘Phantom Is Best!’.
