The Phantom Hot Wheels Car was produced by Mattel in USA in 2013. The Phantom car is part of a set of 6 cars, featuring King Features Syndicate comic book characters.

Hot Wheels is a brand of die-cast toy cars introduced by American toymaker Mattel in 1968. It was the primary competitor of Matchbox until 1997, when Mattel bought Tyco Toys, the former owner of Matchbox.
The Phantom car is a die-cast model of a 1965 Volkswagen Fastback. The car is packed in clear hard plastic attached to a cardboard card. The reverse of the card showcases the full set of cars found in the series.

The car measures 16.51cm x 13.46cm x 3.05cm and weighs 45.36 grams. We see the car decorated with Phantom illustrations and motifs.

The other die-cast cars found in the series are:
- Flash Gordon: Volkswagen T1 Drag Bus

- Popeye: ’52 Chevy

- Beetle Bailey: GMC Motorhome IMG

- Felix the Cat: Haulin’ Gas Van

- Hägar the Horrible: ’56 Chevy Nomad Delivery
