The Phantom Paper Doll Costume Set was produced in Mexico in 1974. Made of thin stock cardboard, the set was produced for the local market and are unlicensed by King Features Syndicate.
The Phantom Paper Doll Costume Set was produced in color, measuring 8.25” x 6.25”. The original sale price for the sets were 20 centavos, approximately 2 cent at the time. They are designed to have the varies pieces cut off the card and used to dress up the main character, also found on the card.
The sets were sold loose of any packaging at newspaper stands and kiosks throughout Mexico. Besides the Phantom, other characters were also featured, including Tarzan, The Flintstones, Pink Panther and The Partridge Family.
