The Kid Phantom Mask was produced by Frew Publications in Australia in 2018. The mask is themed after an image of the Phantom from the Kid Phantom comic book series, published by Frew Publications, illustrated by Paul Mason and written by Andrew Constant.

The Kid Phantom Mask is made of heavy stock paper with a gloss color finish. The eyes on the mask contain holes, with the nose area pre-cut to enable the wearer to poke their nose through. Holes are present on either side of the mask to allow for a string to be looped through before wearing. The front and back of the Kid Phantom Mask can be seen below.

On the reverse side of the Kid Phantom Mask, we see an image of Kid Phantom as illustrated by Paul Mason, plus instructions on how to ‘Loop Rubber Band Through Ear Hole’. Copyright information is also present.

The mask was a free giveaway item provided with the 2018 Annual Phantom comic edition number 1802, released by Frew Publications in Australia in 2018. This edition was sold in newsagency stores, coming bagged in a clear see through plastic bag. Also found with this edition is a Frew Publications replica Phantom comic of edition number 26.
