The Fantomen Mysterious 2 Pictures Contest was held by Semic Press in Sweden in 1962. The contest required the reader to compare two Phantom illustrations and locate three differences seen in one of the images. The front cover of edition number 8 containing the contest can be seen below.
Found on the inside back cover of the comic book, we see a full page advertisement promoting the contest. The contest was held only in this edition, requiring the reader to look closely at two illustrations and locate three differences seen in one of the images. A coupon was then required to be posted with an image indicating the differences to the publisher, with the entrants address details. There is something strange about these two pictures. If you look closely at them, you will find that there are three things in picture 2 that are not in picture 1. To make it a little more difficult for you, we have mirrored one of the pictures, but we hope that you will still be able to solve the problem.
Mark with a cross on picture 2 the things that are missing and send the picture, or a drawing, to Fantomen’s competition editor, Fack, Stockholm 200. Mark the envelope Two pictures. We must have your answer before August 14. The prize winners will be presented in issue 13.
