Fantomen Klubben Pins were released by the publisher of Fantomen comics in Sweden. A variety of pin designs were produced in conjunction with Fantomen Klubben, either offered for purchase or included as part of the club membership pack.
Fantomen Klubben (which translates to Phantom Club) was established by publisher Serieförlaget with the release of Fantomen comic book number 1 in 1950. The club offered a variety of Phantom collectibles as part of becoming a member, including stickers, badges, pens, stationary, key rings, membership cards, membership certificates and more. The design of these collectibles changed over time.
Pins were also produced for the club, with a variety of designs released over time.
Fantomen Klubben Pin – 1950s
Fantomen Klubben released it’s first merchandise item in the form of a pin in 1952, with the first advertisement appearing in Fantomen number 3. The pin would continue to be advertised in Fantomen comics throughout 1952, with an advertisement in Fantomen number 5 shown below. The reader was required to complete the form and return it, with payment, to an address in Stockholm, Sweden.


The pin was produced by Abe-Pust Stockholm with the Phantom seen seated on the Skull Throne with the words ‘Fantomen Klubben’ at the base.


Fantomen Klubben Pin – 1960s
Fantomen Klubben produced a new design for it’s members commencing in early 1960s, offered as part of a membership pack. The pin was produced by Kabo Stockholm with an image of the Phantoms profile seen within a shield shaped design, with the words ‘Fantomens Deckar-Klubb’.



Fantomen Klubben Pin – 1980s
The Fantomen Klubben member kit released in the 1980s were heavily advertised in Fantomen comic books. Below we see an advertisement showcasing the contents of a member kit in Fantomen comic book number 4 published in 1983.


The pin was produced from metal with an image of the Phantoms profile seen within a triangular shaped design.
