The Fantomen Dressen (which translates to Phantom Suit) was produced by Semic Press in Sweden in 1989. The 2 piece suit was only offered via Fantomen Shop advertisements found in Fantomen comic books published in 1989 and not offered in retail stores. It was offered in limited quantities, with a discount offered to Fantomen comic book subscribers. A sample of an advertisement can be seen below.
The Fantomen Dressen is made of 2 pieces, a matching jumper and pants, produced of 50/50 cotton/polyester fabric and was only available in black in sizes small, medium, large and extra large. The jumper contains the words ‘Fantomen – Sveriges största äventyrstidning!’ (which translates to Phantom – Sweden’s largest adventure magazine!) on the front, whilst the back contains a profile image of the Phantom with the words ‘Den Vandrande Vålnaden’ (which translates to The Walking Ghost). The matching pants contains the words ‘Fantomen’ running down the right leg in large white lettering.
