Fantomen Bulls Figure

The Fantomen Figure was produced by Bulls in Sweden in the 1980s.

Bulls Press was founded by Cornelius Bull, nephew Einar Wyller and Bjarne Steinsvik in 1929, Norway. A year later the company moved to Stockholm, Sweden. In 1931 Bulls changed its name to ‘Bulls Presstjänst AB’. Originally a small staffed company, Bulls slowly became a very successful publisher of comic books and associated merchandise.

For over 70 years with few exceptions, ‘Bulls’ has been the sole licensee for such Phantom produced merchandise.

The Phantom figure was produced and released by ‘Bulls’, measuring 10cm in height, made from solid PVC plastic and is colored blue (the color the Phantom is printed in Sweden). We see the Phantom in a standing pose with crossed arms.

Fully licensed by King Features Syndicate, the figures are individually hand painted. At least 2 variations of the figures exist, specifically with the copy right stamp at the rear of the figure, with the front of the figure visually identical.
