The Fantom Ringen was produced by Hallmans Metal Works in Sweden in 1952/53.
Among the illustrious array of Phantom rings crafted worldwide, this particular collectible stands as an unparalleled gem in the realm of the ‘Ghost Who Walks’ collectibles.
The Fantom Ringen eclipses even the esteemed rarity of the 1950s Australian Frew Publications Rubber Stamp Ring, a testament to its exceptional significance. According to information conveyed by a former employee of Semic, this remarkable piece was meticulously fashioned through a close collaboration with Hallmans Metal Works in Sweden in roughly 1952/53, resulting in the creation of an exceedingly limited collectible.
Originally available in exclusive toy stores in central Europe, it features a distinctive rubber stamp skull ring. The Fantom Ringen is accompanied with an exquisitely designed 1.75”+ Round x 0.75” depth lithographic tin of remarkable aesthetic charm. What’s particularly noteworthy is that the tin case contains an ink blotter pad when opened, adding to its overall allure. The ring had a practical purpose, allowing the wearer to press its skull symbol onto the ink pad and imprint the Phantom’s distinctive mark wherever they desired.

The red lithograph tin case lid reads, ‘Fantom Ringen Fresmstillet Med Tilladelse AF Bulls Presstjanst A/B, Stockholm’ which translation to ‘Phantom Ring Produced With Permission From Bulls Press Aervice AB Stockholm’.
